65.3% of makers earn under $200 per month, while almost 10% of them make between $500 and $1000. Based on the responses, the 3rd biggest group has an income of $200-$500 and there’s the 5% of makers who make more than $11.000 in a month.

Most makers (72%) can cover up to 10% of their expenses with their products and only 7% can make a living out of it, with covering 75-100% of their expenses.

More than half of responders (53%) have an all time revenue of $500 or less, followed by an 11% in the $500-$1.000 range and 8% of makers with $5.000-$10.000 earned in their maker career so far. There’s 2% of makers who also crossed a beautiful line with a $1.000.000 all time revenue.

For 27% of markers it took less than 6 months to earn up to $500 while nearly 10% needed between 6 and 12 months to achieve the same results. Half a year to a year was also enough for 3.2% of makers to build a $500-$1.000 revenue and for more than 4% of them, this time frame was enough to make between $5.000-$10.000. In the longer term, those who made their all time revenue in 1-2 years (13%), a third of them can show a revenue in the $10.000-$25.000 range. And out of the makers who can report to have earned their all time revenue in 2-3 years (13%), a quarter of them could jump to the next range, collecting $50.000-$100.000.

More than 5 years can get you close to your 1 million. Out of those who made their all time revenue during this time (4.3%), half of them made between $500.000-$1.000.000 or more than $1.000.000.
